Patient Position: Instruct patient to sit supine with their knee flexed. Put the patients plantar surface in the center if the cassette.
Part Position: ensure the patients foot is resting complety on the cassette
Central Ray: Angle the tube 10degrees posteriorly and center at the base of third metatarsal.
SID: 40 inches
Collimation: Collimate to outer margins of the foot
Respiration: patient does not hold respiration.
