PA Projection Chest

IR size: 14×17 inches

Shielding: Lead shield around waist

Patient Position: Weight evenly distributed on both feet, chin raised, elbows partially flexed, hands on lower hips with palms out, roll shoulders forward and depress downward

Part Position: Ensure no rotation on thorax

Central Ray: Center to midsagittal plane at level of T7

SID: 72 inches

Collimation: On small patients you can collimate on all four sides

Respiration: Exposure made while patients is holding breath on second full inspiration
